It seems that lately, we all know someone who has suffered from some form of cancer. From breast to colon to lung to stomach, it seems that every day there is someone else we know who has been diagnosed with the disease. While on the outside, our friends, family, and co workers all seem strong, on the inside, they are terrified, not knowing what the future will hold for them. Now, several different companies have come up with items to help them make it through. Cancer awareness stuffed animals have burst onto the scene with huge success, giving those who are diagnosed with the disease something to hug and talk to, when they just don’t feel like talking to anyone else. These animals, coupled with cancer awareness wristbands can help even the toughest cancer patient make it through.

Cancer awareness stuffed animals come in about every color that you can think of. Some of these bears, puppies, kitties, and other animals even have their own clothing lines that all sport wonderful pictures or sayings to help your friend or loved one make it through even the toughest of times. Cancer awareness stuffed animals can be a major helping hand to those in treatment.

Cancer awareness wristbands have been around for a while, and are still a favorite of cancer patients, survivors, and supporters. These wristbands come in a variety of shapes, sizes, and colors. What do you want to raise awareness for?
I think everybody has some cause that they want others to know about.
This way, other folks read your answers….and become aware! <3
I promise to read your claims and help out your cause the best I can!
    SPREAD THE WORD! <3

Currently, I’d like to raise awareness for
    CHILDREN STUCK IN HOSPITALS!

I often go to Miller’s Children’s Hospital for my chemo and I’m stuck there for a week while I get it. I’m going to be turning 16 soon, but most of the kids there are just toddlers or pre-teens.
I’ve met dozens of young kids who have been in there for months with cancer/blood disorders ect
One 7 year old girl has been in the hospital since April 2008!
They have good medical care there, but being kids, get bored and long for different toys/books/games/movies. The playroom is nice, everything is donated, but I haven’t seen any new things in the months that I’ve been visiting and you can go through those things quick.
So…….DONATE! Any old games or movies you have but no longer need would really cheer them up!
(To be 100% honest, I don’t think you can donate stuffed animals because those hold bacteria)
But, the playroom had lots of plastic playsets and they loved to play pretend.

or even better, donate your time and support to them. The volunteers that come to the Child Life departments are what makes everyone the happiest!
Several nice people come once a week to hang out with and cheer up the kids with therapy dogs, crafts, stories, art, or music. It’s a nice feeling to help out and counts as community service hours too!
    THANKS FOR READING!

Now, please tell me about your cause! <3
